You have probably gone through many articles on the internet to find out the answers to the questions-why am I getting irritable? Why am I feeling unwell? Or why am I losing my enthusiasm to focus on my goals and so on? After reading so many articles you may be a little bit confused.

Here I am going to share with you some tips to get out of it.

What is going on in your mind is only the output of some negative feelings you have been nurturing so far.

Before diving into details of negativity, its impact, and way out, you should have a clear idea of how our brains work and mind process data.

Data! Do not take it so difficult.it is the mere responses that are received by our five sense organs.

The first interaction with the external world

Our first encounter with the external world takes place through the conscious mind. We receive external stimuli through our sense organs. These responses are filtered through the conscious mind and passed on to the subconscious mind to get a pattern in the future.

Do not get it clear! Let me clarify through a practical example. Suppose your mind is a house and the conscious mind is the doorkeeper of it.it is the conscious mind who is to determine who is going to enter the house or who is not.

Creation of pattern of thoughts

This is the main mechanism on which our attitude, behavior depends. Here comes the role of the subconscious mind.

What is the subconscious mind?

You can compare it to a well-trained dog who abides by the rules and instructions which have already been taught to him.

For example, suppose you keep the key of your bike generally in the drawer of your desk. But one day you consciously put it on the bookshelf. Next, when you will need it you are likely to go to the drawer at first instance. The most interesting fact is that you did not go to the bookshelf though it was kept consciously. This is the way our subconscious mind works. Keeping keys in the drawer every day helps you to create a pre-set-up mechanism in your mind which is termed subconscious mind. You act as per your pre-set instructions.

The subconscious mind is basically subjective by nature.it has no logical ability to filter through responses.it acts the way it has been programmed for a long time by accumulating a huge number of the same type-responses.

Now comes the main point -what is negativity and how do you get rid of it?

What is negativity?

In psychology, you can call it a state of consciousness where you negatively respond to the external world. The symptoms of these responses can be showing no interest in anything, having no confidence in yourself, or blaming for everything.

Why is it harmful?

Negative feelings can be very fatal to you if you cannot recognize them and cannot take steps accordingly.

● It may spoil your creative power.

● It can hamper your personal relationship.

● You can start to feel total indifference to each and everything. Even you can find no meaning in life itself.

● You will not be able to put your focus on anything.

Now a basic question can peep into your mind-what causes this negativity?

There are many ways by which you can get infected with negativity.

Negative information

Knowingly or unknowingly people receive a lot of negative information either in digital media or through print media. The distorted and often biased news will leave a serious negative impact on your mind. it can cause stress, depression, and fatigue.

Negative people

In a study conducted by the researchers of Harvard University, it was found that relationships play a vital role in making people happy. This study shows how negative people are shaping our outlook by delivering their negative remarks and affinity.

How to get rid of it?

‘You train the planet a way to treat you’

You are the driver of your own life. The name of your driver is ‘conscious’ As already said, it is the door-keeper who checks the entry-point. so you will have to increase your filtration power. The more you filter the responses the more you will get an effective result.

So you have to be very selective and careful in allowing the responses which come in the shape of negative information and negative people.

You must avoid those people who invite negative emotions for you.

You must not read that news or articles which, you think, is biased and distorted.it can affect your outlook and attitude.

Life is yours.do not hesitate to make decisions that will make you happy.it may be harsh to someone’s eyes. but if it is justified impersonally by you. You should go with your decisions.
